15 mm Medieval Polish - Launched Next Week

Regular visitors will know that last week I finished sorting and bagging the launch stock. This week I've been assembling, undercoating and photographing samples of all six packs in preparation for the full launch next week.

The first result of these labours are that all codes now have new photos of the production stock replacing those of the greens. The second is a montage of the whole range which will be used in the launch advertising.

Heraldic Banners of the Wars of the Roses

Thomas Coveney's 1997 three volume master work has been added to the book store.

The books provides both biographic and heraldic details of over 900 personalities from the Wars of the Roses. The information is complemented by 288 full colour banners by Freezywater's Pat McGill.

New Photos Of Black Hat 15 mm Feudals

Thanks to some spare time I've painted, photographed and uploaded some examples of the 15mm Medieval Peasants & Generic Infantry.

I added eight packs in April this year. All are sculpted by Josef Ochmann and are ideal for both Medieval Eastern Europe and feudal western Europe.

New 15 mm Medieval Polish Range In Stock

I've spent the best part of this week sorting and bagging stock for the "official" launch at the end of the month.

However I did find time to post all advance orders two weeks early as a little thank you to everyone who placed an advance order.

The final step before launch is to undercoat and photograph all the figures for the web. With a bit of luck I should get that done early next week. In the meantime check out the photos of the greens.

Facebook Page Integration

The summer is always a good time to try a few new projects as it's a bit quieter. This summer I've been investigating how to make the Vexillia Facebook page more interesting by setting up various automatic updates. So far I've been manually transferring news item to the Facebook Notes feature.

In the last few days I've managed to automate the addition of updates from the main web site, the Gallery and the Pike & Plunder weblogs. There's still a few technical issues to sort out but it's looking good.

If you're a Facebook user why not visit the Vexillia Facebook page and let me know what you think.

Pike and Plunder Website Update

James Roach, the author of Pike & Plunder (campaign rules for the Italian Wars), has released a new scenario for a fictional battle featuring an assault on a partly entrenched camp. The scenario is also available as a free pdf download.

The Pike & Plunder website also
features campaign & battle reports as well as lots of stunning photographs of troops painted by James.

Mirliton Stock Order Arrived

My latest order from Mirliton arrived late today. All back orders will be posted tomorrow.

I'd like to say that I now had full stock of the new 15 mm Muslim range but I can't because of significant sales between placing the order and its arrival in the UK. I do have lots of stock just less than I'd planned. Order soon to avoid disappointment.
